About Me/ Company

My name is Jackie Forshaw and I run my own business as a pet carer. I offer dog home boarding and a mobile pop in service to look after your pets in your own home.

I am fully licenced by Wigan council, insured and CRB checked.

I will offer you and your pets a personal one to one service that is tailored to meet your specific needs. I have many years experience of handling and owning animals. My family currently have a working GSD and a pet Spaniel. Two rabbits and two gorgeous Guinea pigs.

I live in Wigan five minutes from the M6 motorway and the East Lancs Road. As a dog owner I know lots of beautiful local areas to exercise and stimulate your dog. A well exercised dog is a happy, well behaved and content one!!

Previous Experience

I have never known what an animal free home is! As a child I had many pets from dogs and cats to hamsters, gerbils and mice.

Currently, my family have professionally a working GSD a pet spaniel, rabbits and guinea pigs. I have handled and looked after many breeds of dogs including - Labrador, lhasa Apso, West Highland Terrier, Yorkshire Terrier, Border Collie and many mixed breeds of dog.

I am educated to Post Graduate level and as a qualified teacher I have an enhanced CRB check. I can also offer references.

Dog Home Boarding
£14 per day for one dog, £20 for two dogs for the first seven days.
10% discount on each subsequent day after.
Bank Holidays are double time!!

Mobile Pet care
Checking on your pets in your own home. Ideal for small pets. This includes feeding, cleaning out litter trays,cages and hutches, home security and most importantly lots of cuddles and tlc.
£6 - 30mins, £12 - 60mins (one animal)
£8 - 30minutes, £14 - 60mins (two or more animals)
Bank holidays are double time!!

Other Services

I understand how daunting it can be when you put your beloved pets in the care of other people. You can rest assured that they will be offered a loving "home from home" if you use our pet boarding. I treat all my clients as my own.
I can offer you and your pets -dog home boarding, small pet boarding(rabbit, guinea pigs etc) at my home and pet sitting in your own home (mobile pop in service feeding, walking, cleaning litter trays/cages/hutches and giving lots of tlc) home security. You can then enjoy a stress free holiday knowing your pet is being well cared for.
