About Me/ Company

We are one of the Best Dog Walking & Pet Sitting companies in Coventry.

Walkies of Coventry was started in 2007 by Jules. After various jobs & mostly working over 20 years in management in the customer service, hospitality & catering industry, working up-to 120 hours a week, Jules decided she realised life was too short & wanted to do something that she loved. So Jules decided to follow her passion for the love of Dogs & Pets plus her love of the outdoors.

As the business grew her Husband Mick came on board in 2009 due to the business growing day by day. Mick was a dog handler in the Army so is vastly experienced with dogs & very security conscious.

Unlike other companies that have smaller vans or cars with crates, limited space and most with no natural light & air, Walkies have 2 large spacious vans that both have seats, windows that open, in the back of the vans with padded waterproof bedding for the dogs comfort & welfare.

Our vans have 2 members of staff when transporting dogs, for added security & one team member to every 4 dogs when we walk the dogs.

We have a fantastic experienced team that work with us, that any company would be proud to have. We take our business very seriously but never lose sight that the pets welfare & happiness comes first.

Mostly owning my own dogs since an early age. Nearly 50 years of experience around cats and dogs. Small birds, Reptiles, Hamsters and Guinea pigs to name a few.

Walkies of Coventry has been providing over 17 years of professional experience providing in-home cat sitting and small pet home visits. Our experienced pet sitters will visit your home to give your pets the care, love & attention in accordance with your requirements they deserve in your absence, In home pet sitting reduces your pets’ stress while you are away, and allows them to hang out in their favourite haunts, eat familiar food, sleep in their usual places & play with their same toys. They also receive special one on one attention that only a loving pet sitter can provide. We offer a professional, discrete if needed, friendly service where we can visit your cats or pets everyday in the comfort of their own home whilst you’re on holiday, away for the day or away on business. When pet sitting, your home will also be well cared for in your absence. Each day our cat sitters will perform a security check. This is an advantage to you, since many home insurance policies require regular visits while you are gone. The pet sitter will also move mail and newspapers from the letter box, change around lights and blinds/curtains, put rubbish bins out for collection & bring them back in, and we even water plants if needed!
