About Me/ Company

I offer tailored dog walking services and home visits for cats and small animals in Edinburgh.

Previous Experience

My name is Lorraine Murtagh and I have 14 years experience owning and training dogs. My own dogs are Indy, a Border Collie, and Fudge, an English Springer Spaniel. I live in Polwarth, close to the city centre.

I am experienced in dealing with high-energy dogs who need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, as well as dogs with fear, aggression and other behavioural issues.

I attend dog training classes weekly with my own dogs and I am learning to be an assistant trainer.

Relevant Info

I can offer walks to suit you and your dog's needs. Dogs of any size and breed are welcome. I am happy to accept dogs with behavioural problems, such as nervousness, fear of strangers, pulling on the lead or aggression towards other dogs, and I will work on any issues while I walk your dog.

I can walk your dog alone or with other calm friendly dogs for socialisation. You dog can be taken to a variety of locations including Holyrood Park, Blackford Hill, Braid Burn, Roslin Glen, Craiglockhart woods, beaches, the canal and the Water of Leith.

Other Services

While you are away from home I can visit your cat twice a day to feed and change water, and give your cat some love and attention. I will also clean out litter trays if required. If you like I can water your plants, remove post from the letterbox and open and close curtains.
Small animal visits

I can visit your small pets while you are away, to feed and water and play with if required. I can take care of hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, birds, reptiles and fish. I can clean rodent cages and change water in fish tanks.
