About Me/ Company

Welcome to The Clifton Pet Nanny!

My name is Di and I am delighted to offer my new independant, dedicated dog walking/sitting service to the residents of the Clifton area in Bristol! I know how hard it can be to find people we can trust to look after our beloved pooches.

After trying kennels and various other alternatives with my own dogs while I was employed in industry full-time, I realised first-hand the challenges this involved. After taking a voluntary redundancy early this year, setting up my own pet nanny service has given me the opportunity to provide a caring dog-loving, dog-walking/sitting service that I feel has been hard to find.

I have had many pets of all shapes and sizes, including goldfish, hamsters, dogs, pet sheep and horses. Currently I am the proud owner of two very affable labradors and a horse. I simply love dogs and the wonderful bond they offer to us humans.

I also fully understand the demands and pressures made by the modern workplace, and how these impact on the needs of our canine family members.

I have a variety of services to offer busy dog owners in the Clifton area of Bristol:

SERVICES & FEES

Dog walking – from £12 per 30 mins, £20 per 60 mins

Dog sitting:
• Fuss & feed (no walking) - £12
• 1 visit per day (incl. 30 min. walk) - £15
• 2 visits per day - £20
• Dawn till Dusk (3 visits) am, lunch, pm) - £30
* 2nd dog half price

I am happy to walk your dog over your preferred routes or paths, or, alternatively walk your pooch on the beautiful Clifton Downs. All new dogs walked on the Downs will be kept on leads for the first walk so that we can get to know each other.

I endeavour to meet my customer's needs in any situation, and am more than happy to discuss your needs and your dog’s needs and any particular bespoke requirements.

Previous Experience

I have owned dogs of various breeds shapes and sizes all my life, including many rescue dogs.

I truly believe that dogs become an integrated member of our families. My own dogs have accompanied me to Australia and back, so I fully understand what our furry friends can mean to us!

I attended puppy classes and dog socialisation training with both of my current dogs.

Qualifications & Training

I am a recently retired academic (PhD qualified). My initial degree qualifications were in psychology and behaviour, animal behaviour forming part of these qualifications.

If you have additional pets I am more than happy to care for them too - this includes, goldfish, hamsters, rabbits, cats and horses. Prices on request.
