About Me/ Company

At Power Paws we offer a High-Quality Dog Walking, Pet Sitting and Holiday Boarding Service. We are Canine/Pet First Aid Trained, Fully Insured and CRB Checked.

Over 20 years’ experience of working with dogs and I would love to share my passion and knowledge by looking after your beloved pet.

• Your dog(s) will be taken on walks in local parks and woodlands.

• Based in Mapperley but happy to travel.

• Receive a text upon arrival and departure on each walk.

• Stay updated on your pet’s adventures through Facebook.

Every dog is an individual with a distinct set of needs and behaviors that are determined by a wide variety of factors: genetics, breeding, socialization, training, management, and environment.

The only way we can accurately determine what a dog needs are is to look at the individual dog in front us for the answers.

In other words, we can’t judge a book by its cover (even if that cover looks like other ones we’ve seen before)!

Prices for Dog Walking and Pop in Visits/Pet Sitting range from £6 - £15.

Boarding Stays are charged at £20 per night with a discount available for long stays.

Previous Experience

Power Paws takes pride in delivering a reliable and trustworthy service to the dog owner and provides a balance between leadership, attention and affection to your dog during our walks or doggy day care/holiday boarding stays.

We are registered with NarpsUK where pet sitters and dog walkers are united by being part of a National organisation of pet lovers who offer you a professional, caring, ethical and reliable pet sitting or dog walking service.

Over the years I have looked after a wide variety of breeds and I can therefore adapt my training or walking schedule accordingly. I am able to make good decisions quickly based on the knowledge I have gained from handling dogs in tricky situations. Knowledge of a dogs behaviour is key but so is a lot of love & cuddles!

I am Pet First Aid Trained and happy to give medication if required. All boarding stays include an invitation to see the accommodation to assure your dogs needs are met. Please Note: I have a dog as well therefore it is important your dog is fully vaccinated. Please disclose any health or behavioural concerns in advance. All Power Paws members require to be microchipped.
