About Me/ Company

Having been brought up around dogs, cats and horses I understand how much animals mean to their owners! They really are part of the family!
We have a 3 year old Cat called Tom who we got as a kitten from the RSPCA. We also regularly house Midge and Sammy who are my parents and mother in laws dogs. Midge and Sammy always come to stay when my parents/in-laws go away because we know they would hate to be left in kennels.
I have 3 children. I have always loved animals and being in the fresh air - this is the perfect part time occupation for me!
Pips Premier Pets offers you the peace of mind that your pets are being well looked after while you are at work, away or unable to attend to them. I offer a flexible approach to any situation – if what you require for your pet is not listed please feel free to contact me for an informal chat to seek a solution to meet your needs.

Pips Premier Pets understand that all animals are different and that their needs and behaviour in different circumstances can vary. I aim to give your pets the best treatment and care possible, therefore I offer a free consultation with you and your pet so we can get to know each other and learn about your pets needs. I will ask you to complete a short information sheet which will ask you a few questions about your pet including, pets habits, food regime, exercise routine, medical history and specific requirements so that we can give your pets the best possible care.

Previous Experience

I have been running Pips Premier Pets now for over 2 years. To date we have cared for 39 dogs, 23 cats, 7 rabbits, 6 rats, 6 chickens and a hedgehog!! All my clients have either booked or are planning to book Pips Premier Pets again! Any clients that I have lost are sadly due to loss of the animal. Pirate and Eske are my most regular doggie visitors - they can't get in the house quick enough, so I know they are happy staying with us!!!

Other Services

Cat Care
Cats like companionship either with other cats or people for at least part of the day and rely on their owners for food and care. It is known that cats are most comfortable in their own familiar environment. If like me you don't like leaving your pets in unfamiliar surroundings then get in touch with me and let me take care of your cat in their own home.
I will feed, water and clean out litter trays as well as provide lots of TLC for your cat making sure they are snug and happy while you are away. I recommend 1-2 visits per day.
I will make your house look lived in while you're away by taking in mail, opening, closing curtains, putting bins out, leaving lights on anything to make it look like you are home.
I also offer a texting service while you are away.

Small Animal Care
I know how hard it can be to find someone to look after your pets while you are unable to. However we can offer home care, we look after all types of small animals while you are away, such as: -
Rabbits
Fish
Hamsters
Guinea Pigs
Gerbils
And many more...
I will visit your home to feed, provide fresh water and clean cages or runs for your small pets; of course I will also give your pets cuddles and TLC!
I will make your house look lived in while you're away by taking in mail, opening, closing curtains, putting bins out, leaving lights on anything to make it look like you are home.
I also offer a texting service while you are away. I will send you a text at the end of the day telling you how your pet is and what they have been up to.
If you prefer it may be possible to bring your pet in its cage to my house to be looked after 24/7. I even charge less for this as I don't need to travel!

Dog Sitting
Having been brought up with dogs, I understand how upsetting it is to leave them behind when we go away. My families dogs always board with me rather than being sent to kennels.
Pips Premier Pets provides a family home in which to leave your dog whilst you are away. Your dog would come to my house and live with us for the time that you are away. I am registered with Kirklees council to take a/maximum of 2 dogs at any given time. Any dog that comes here must be happy around children. We also have a cat – who can fend for himself!
I can offer a dog proof garden and country walks on the doorstep!
I ask all customers to fill in a short introductory form to inform us about your dog and give full instructions of what exactly you would like us to do.

Horse Care
I grew up with horses and know how tying it is to cater to their needs twice or three times a day. I will feed, groom, change rugs, bring in/let out once or twice a day. Please call for details as every horse owner has different requirements..
