About Me/ Company

My name is Claire Yates, and after spending many years working as an Accountant, we moved to our small holding in The Peak District, and have never looked back.  I set up Peak Pet Services, because of my passion for animals, and I wanted to turn my hobby into a business, providing pet care for others, whether at our own home, or visiting pets in their own home.

We live in the Peak District National Park, halfway between Leek and Buxton and close to Macclesfield.  We live close to the famous "Three Shires Head", where the counties of Staffordshire, Cheshire and Derbyshire meet.

This beautiful part of the country offers endless countryside, perfect for walks, with plenty of fresh clean air.  We live on a 10 acre smallholding, so there is plenty of space for your dog to run around safely, and your other pets such as rabbits, chickens and guinea pigs to have access to grass.  We even have an enclosed patio area which is a sun trap, so tortoises will be able to safely have a potter around.

We have a vast amount experience working with all animals, and as we have a smallholding, have a menagerie of our own:
Our Bedlington Terrier called Gretal, our five lovely moggies (Lucy, Cactus, Crunchie, Clover and Alfie), a corn snake called Ruby, two Horsfield tortoises (Faith and Hope), a Shire Horse called Charlie, a Percheron Horse called Angel, and a number of chickens and ducks. We have also previously owned a Tamworth pig, alpacas and sheep.

Your pets will receive the best care we can provide here at Peak Pet Services, and be assured that they will be treated as one of our own.
