About Me/ Company

Hello I am Linda Giles, proprieter of Pawfect Walks. I am very family orientated & animal mad. Our family have had dogs in our lives since early childhood & cannot imagine being without our faithful friends. We are passionate about all animals and have had lots of amazing experiences over the years. We understand the anxiety many people feel leaving their pets when going on holiday or simply having a long day at work or maybe unwell and unable to walk or care for their pets themselves. Many people are anxious not to put their pets in kennels and this is where we can help. We can look after your pets from as little as an hour or for several weeks at a time the choice is yours.

Contented Pets are our Passion' Pawfect Walks is a dog walking, doggy day care, & overnight boarding service fully insured and current CRB certificates, offering:

* Dog Walking in social groupd
* Puppy visits 1 or 2 times a day - progressing onto group walking
and socialising once inoculation period is completed.
* Doggy Day Care &/or Boarding- Home from Home care for your pet - popular for the holiday season but also when owner has an extra long work day, medical appointment, shopping trip or a social event such as weddings, funerals, christenings and parties

* We aim to only take a couple of dogs at any one time so they get full attention and lots of play and cuddles!

We are interested in the psychology of the dog and what makes it tick and have learnt a lot about animal behaviour which has in turn helped with basic dog training and the reward is watching the dogs develop into confident and fun creatures. We love walking our own dog and meeting so many lovely people out doing the same - we always says the nicest people are dog lovers!! The dogs that board with us are part of the family and included in outings wherever we go. Our family and friends love meeting the dogs in our care and our grandaughters cant wait to come over at the weekends to join the fun.

Doug (my hubby) & I were made redundant from large corporate companies and we were looking for a different work life balance. This seemed the pawfect way (pun intended) to bring our love of being outdoors with walking our own dog and others. After all if you are walking one you might as well walk several!! We alternate our walking routes and venues to keep the dogs stimulated and interested in their surroundings, including local Heathland, Woods, Lakes and Parks.

Whether you are booking dog walking or pet sitting/boarding we think its important to eliminate separation anxiety for the pet and the owner and we recommend a home visit to ensure you are confident you are leaving your precious cargo in safe hands!! This is a free service. We are flexible and mobile and will endeavor to meet all your requirements. Previous Experience

Have been a dog owners for over 50 years and much of that time we have had two dogs at a time all who have featured greatly in our lives. At present we just have our beautiful Springer Spaniel Rosie .She loves the company of our doggy visitors and joins the daily dog walking trips with equal enthusiasm.

Every dog we have had has been a rescue dog and most came from appalling condition with serious illness and anxiety problems or had learnt some very bad behaviours. We nursed them back to good health, socialised them and some even became part of a 'dog display team' fab fun for the dogs and us and met lots of like minded people.

We are used to being patient & caring with scared or nervous dogs and happy to play football and games with the more energetic varieties! We are used to handling a variety of different sized dogs and different ages too. Also had experience with dogs with epilepsy, allergies and pancreatitis, dealing with medication and special diets‘

Qualifications & Training

CRB checked and a lifetime of experience of handling all types of dogs.
