Michelle's Pet Care Service is a Cardiff based Pet Sitting & Dog Walking Service. We provide Pet Sitting as an alternative to boarding kennels & catteries enabling your pet to remain in their own home in a familiar environment avoiding the stress that pets often experience when staying away from home. If you are looking for a Caring, Friendly & Reliable Cat Sitter, or Small Animal Sitter, Michelle's Pet Care Service can help.


Michelle's Pet Care Service also provide a Dog Walking Service, where we can call in on your dog if you are at work or if you find you are unable to take your dog out for a walk. We can give you peace of mind knowing that your dog is being exercised at times when you are unable to do it.

Previous Experience

Hello, my name is Michelle and I'm the founder of Michelle's Pet Care Service which was established in April 2008. We are a caring, friendly and reliable family pet care business based in Thornhill, Cardiff.

I was born and raised in Cardiff, and as a child we had a family cat called Tiger, which we all loved and where I gained my first experience of animal care.

When I married my husband Tony in 1993, we had a cross Collie called Lady, who we loved and adored. We also aquired twin ginger tom cats Barney and Thomas, and a female tabby rescue cat called Tessa. All of these brought much enjoyment and pleasure to our lives, as well as three fish, Goldie, Shadow and George. These devoted pets have sadly now passed on due to old age, but living with us today are our 4 cats Sophie and Charlie (both rescue cats), Sassie and Jessica (former foster cats we adopted), Megan a Border Collie, our Guinea Pigs Elvis and Alfie and our fish Ariel and Splash.

I have previously had several years experience volunteering and fostering for Cat Protection.

At Michelle's Pet Care we provide a service where all pets receive the best possible care when you need to be parted, so that you return home to a happy and healthy pet.
