About Me/ Company
Hi, my company is called South Cheshire Dogs, and I provide a number of services. I am fully insured, DBS checked, I am a certified Pro Dog Trainer, and also have certificates in Canine First Aid and Dog Walking/Pet Sitting. My services include Dog Training Walks at £20 per hour, Solo/Group Walks, Puppy Visits, Elderly/Convalescing Dog Visits and Pet Sitting (all priced at £10 per 30 mins or £15 per hour.
Previous Experience
I have previously worked as a Trainee Veterinary Nurse, and have been a key holder in previous jobs, as well as currently. I own two dogs myself and have had cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hamsters and fish all throughout my life.
Qualifications & Training
I became a certified Pro Dog Trainer this year, which means if your dog has any issues on or off lead I can train them 1-2-1, and put a comprehensive plan in place for them. It is purely rewards based training, using the power of concepts/games in order to help to change your dogs emotional responses, remaining calm, and eliminating undesirable behaviour. I have also recently become certified in Canine First Aid, so you know your dog will be in safe hands should anything happen, and I became certified in Dog Walking/Pet Sitting so I am fully aware of all current requirements, although each dog/pet is an individual and will be treated as such.
Other Services
With the Pet Sitting service I provide the 30 minute/1 hour charges can be split twice over the day, so if you're on holiday I can also bring in your post, take your bins out, open/close curtains, put lights on or off etc, as well as feed and look after your pets at home.
For puppy visits and elderly/convalescing dog visits I will play some simple, appropriate games with them, as well as toilet them and give them fresh water/food if needed, that way they will be mentally stimulated and able to easily rest, feeling tired and relaxed.
