Merlin Pet Services is a fully insured professional, reliable, friendly and flexible service aimed at meeting the needs of you and your pets. Based within a 10 mile radius of Llanharan, we cover the areas of Pencoed, Bridgend, Llantrisant, Llanharry, Miskin, Llantwit Vardre and Church Village.

Services we offer include dog walking, pet sitting and small animal boarding.

Previous Experience

Merlin Pet Services is owned and run by Katy Loney. Katy grew up surrounded by a variety of different pets including rabbits, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils and of course dogs. After years of working in an office environment, coming home to her pets was the highlight of her day, due to this she launched her own business to help meet the needs of owners and pets and enabling her to have the opportunity to spend more time with the animals that make her so happy.

Other Services

Small Animal Boarding
Rabbits, Hamsters and Guinea pigs can be boarded at the home of Merlin Pet Services. This will include fresh food, water, vegetables and hay daily, cleaning out when required and lots of love and cuddles. Guinea pigs and rabbits also have the chance to get outdoors in a secure run or let loose in the house if permission is given by the owner.

All small animals must come in their own cages. Collection of animal can be arranged for a small fee.

Puppy Sitting
If you have a small little addition to the family that is in need of some company whilst you are out during the day then I would be delighted to pop in and keep your puppy company. During my 20 minute visit I will play with your pup and clean up any mess they might have made in your absence.

Pet Sitting
Merlin Pet Services will happily drop in and visit your pet whilst you are away ensuring that your pet is fed, watered and receives affection during your absence. We will also clean up any mess if required. We offer this service for animals such as dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbits. Dogs can also be walked at an added cost. We are aware that some pets have unique requirements and we are happy to discuss and accommodate if possible.
