My father has just had knee replacement surgery. He lives in Wadhurst and has a lovely much-loved gun dog (black labrador) called Jet aged 9. I have been walking Jet for the last week for an hour in the morning (7.30am) and then 30 mins in the evening at 5.30pm or so. Jet is a lovely gentlemanly handsome hound, happy on a long lead, very well behaved, comes to heel, sits and stays on command.
Isn't interested in other dogs. Hasn't got much road sense as he is used to being in open countryside. Can't be let of the lead in case he glimpses a pheasant. We probably only need a dog walker for a week or maybe two while Dad recovers. I live in London.
