We are looking for someone to come and walk Tommy, our Jack Russell, a couple of times a week on an ongoing basis. We live in the Cheadle Heath area of Stockport. Tommy is a lively dog and is full of character. Once he gets to know someone he is very affectionate towards them, it just takes him a little while to completely trust people and let them be part of the pack!
Tommy is a rescue dog from Manchester Dog's Home and does not like other dogs so he has to be walked alone and cannot be let off the lead. It is also best to avoid parks, as he is not keen on dogs who bound up to him off the lead. We have done a lot of dog training with him to help this, but he still isn't keen.
We are looking for a dog walker as I am changing my working hours, so a couple of days a week I will leave the house very early and get back late. On those days Tommy will need someone to come in and take him out. Those days may differ from one week to the next. But I anticipate it to be 2 days a week.
