Details:
We are looking for an experienced, reliable and dog loving walker/sitter that can see to our terrible twosome Rufus & Otto. Rufus is a 3 1/2 year old Miniature Schnauzer and Otto is a 10 month old Wirehaired Standard Dachshund.
We need someone to be able to come to see the boys at home and initially feed them lunch and let them out for an hour around 12.30-2pm on some weekdays (approx. 3 times a week). Eventually this will lead to an hour walk and feed upon return. Rufus has fear aggression and consequently is cautious of strangers and new dogs. Ideally we need someone confident with nervous dogs that can bond with Rufus and build up his trust and confidence.
Otto is very friendly with all people and dogs. We would like someone to start asap on a permanent basis. However an initial meeting and interview would need to take place to see how Rufus reacts to you and to ensure you feel comfortable with him and Otto when alone. When the boys know you they are very loving and eager to please.
