Anouk has separation anxiety meaning she can never be left alone at home or in a vehicle for any length of time. She was a rescue dog and we are her third home although she has now lived with us for 5 years. She currently spends her days with my husband who works for himself, or with me, if I am working from home.
In January I am having an operation on my foot which will mean I can't walk her for 2 weeks. We would like to befriend someone who could offer walks to start with and then occasional sitting services to allow us some freedom to do simple things like going to the cinema or shopping together. Anouk needs to get to know you and it will be easier for both you and her if you are able to come and walk her with us initially. She is a very soft and loving dog who loves walking and chasing squirrels and pheasants in the fields where we live.
Ideally we would like to make this a regular thing for someone looking to walk her on a regular basis and house sit with her on an occasional basis. She can be a lot of fun, gives a lot of love and as with any dog can have her wilful and challenging moments. She is very routine oriented but walking with her is always rewarding. She is ok with other dogs in the main.
