Hi there, my dog walker, Vanessa is leaving us for pastures new. Vanessa is the Mary Poppins of Dog Walkers and we have been very spoilt. Therefore it is proving very difficult for us to replace her. So we really need your help. This situation is as follows: My partner works from home 24,7. On the odd day he has to go to Birmingham or Cambridge for a day, so we will need a full day doggy care that day.
Other times, he has to go into London for meetings, but he doesn't know this until the night before or that morning. So we have been fortunate enough to call Vanessa last minute to take Ted that morning, afternoon or all day. It isn't worth us block booking Ted for walks because it is not a requirement we are looking for. We still use Vanessa three or 4 times a week, just depends what we need her for.
Sometimes, if we haven't needed her all week, we still treat Ted to spend a day with his mates anyway as a treat. I have investigated many dog walkers but most run it as a business now, and it's all to a schedule with block booking, and that's not what we are looking for.
So we are really looking forward to someone being close and flexible enough who can give a personal touch. If this is you and you can help, please get in touch. Teddy is an apricot cuddly, fluffy, placid, Cavapoo, 18 months and neutered very submissive and gets on with other dogs.
