We are a family living in Brighouse, West Yorkshire and are looking for an experienced dog sitter/boarder who can look after Poppy in their own home for the 3 weeks we are away, between 1st and 22nd August. We can easily drop Poppy at homes in Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford, Wakefield or any of the many towns in between. South and West Yorkshire and East Lancashire also do-able.
We are after a home from home environment. Poppy is our 10 year old neutered female bearded collie, fairly quiet though may bark if people come to the door, she is pretty easy going, like chasing sticks but is not a huge walker...on hot days she likes a paddle as she can get prett warm. She has tablets morning and night time to control Addisons disease and also to control fully a slight incontinence issue she developed over 12 months ago, but this is now entirely under control.
She is fed once a day (evening). She lives with 4 cats who she gets on with really well, and is ok with other dogs, as long as they don't get to heavily playful. Even then she will just warn them off. Please feel free to contact me if you need any further information.
