Details:
I work away for 1-4 days at a time, approx 8 X year. Albert is happy in kennels ( he is 8, I've had him since a puppy, very friendly, has a bit of arthritis so sometimes won't walk very far). I've recently got a rescue dog, Dora, who is 4 and I don't think she's been socialised.
She reacts loudly to other dogs, cows, sheep, anything new, in that she squeals in a high pitched way and is very agitated, not aggressive. She did this at first to Albert but calmed down. We are working with a trainer but this will take time. I've tried short visits to the kennels but think this environment is too much for her.
Looking for someone to either house or pet sit, can walk around our gardens. Needs to be away from other dogs for the moment.
