Details:
Looking for a dog sitter to cover the weekends away, longer breaks, work trips etc......I have 6 rescue dogs and run a small dog charity so there can sometimes be other foster dogs and looking to get chickens. But I love to travel and am also involved in a rescue in Spain and I need someone or a couple that is available to come and look after my pack so I can get away.
You would stay in my house in your own large bedroom with your own bathroom and of course have use and access to the kitchen, utilities, lounge, TV etc. There is just under 2 acres of securely fenced in field and garden for the dogs to go in. So no requirement to walk any of them unless you want to as they happily run around and play in the field.
One is very nervous of new people so this is why I would rather get someone more local and regular than have different people come and dog sit. Plus its very important to trust the person I am letting look after my little family and let into my home.
One dog needs to be kept separate from one of the others but this is fairly easy and the house and garden are all set up with gates and different areas. Sounds onerous but its not and well organised and dogs all know the routine.
You'd need to feed twice a day, poo pick every couple of days, play and exercise (in field or can walk) the dogs. Ideally they would not be left for more than 4 hours in a day. And not overnight night.
Amazing location and there is a large barn that would suit anyone that does crafts, or an artist or writer. Ideally you need a car as its 7 miles from nearest town and in case of emergency to get to vets.

* Retired applicants looking for an additional income stream and who are flexible with no ties of their own.
* People with a flexible, part time, or work from home jobs.
* Individuals studying or completing (majority online) courses so long as dogs needs came first.
* Existing pet sitters who are looking for a stable source of additional work (so long as able to commit to when needed)
* Passionate, caring animal lovers looking to be part of a mad but amazing household and pack from time to time.
Requirements
* Reliable and trustworthy.
* Passionate about animals and their welfare and not phased by nervous dogs.
* Ability to regularly communicate with me by email and text/whats app so I know all is ok when I am away
* Access to a vehicle is preferable.
* Availability and time to commit to future jobs - I can usually give at least a week's notice often more but sometimes will be a spontaneous weekend away.
Benefits
* Your own schedule - You can work around the dogs so long as they get plenty of attention and outside time and cuddles.
* Spend time in the countryside, great walking close by, amazing views, quiet.
If you have additional skills - gardening, general DIY/building, painting (artistic) then I have other jobs that could be done while I am away.
Pay is open to discussion and if becomes fairly regular I would be happy to agree a retainer and more monthly/annual amount but as an idea: If just dog care then £25 a day for short stays with all food/drink provided and of course accommodation. If a week then £120 a week. If additional gardening/DIY work then we can discuss depending on job/skill.
If anyone has a camper or caravan and looking for a place to stay for longer periods I could accommodate this and we could discuss renumeration.
You would be effectively self employed and responsible for own taxes and any social contributions. I will check on insurance side for having a dog sitter stay.
