Details:
We need someone to look after our three-year-old rescue while we go on a job for about a month. Sheba is from Dubai. We got her about a year ago. She's also incredibly affectionate and very smart.
She is of a breed that's typically called "Indian Street Dog." Among their characteristics - which hold true for her - are territorial, loyal, fast learner. She is also pretty much a one-person dog - or at least one person at a time. She tends to over-guard, which can be a problem.
Because she was probably abused before she was rescued, she doesn't like fast or aggressive movements toward her. But if you let her come to you, she'll be snuggling beside you on the sofa within minutes. Her bed is her safe place - where you can send her if she's being annoying or where she'll go if she's afraid.
She has been trained to basic commands (sit, down, stay, shake hands) and responds well to voice commands - unless distracted by other dogs, deer, etc.
