Hi

Olly my miniature Dachshund comes to work with me every day but often gets bored. He is one year old and castrated. He currently goes to day care once or twice a week but the lady who currently has him has been offered a job and has given me notice. I live in Borough Green and work in Westerham. If a full day I am happy to drop off and collect but for half days I will need him either collected or dropped off... my hours are 9am-4pm. I am happy to drop him off anywhere along the A25 between those two places or near to Borough Green or Westerham.

Olly has been nervous of men but I think I now have that sorted but I believe at another Day Care I was using he may have had a bad experience with another dog as he is quite barky at other dogs (which he wasnt like before). In a group of dogs he knows he is great and ive been told by his current day care that he has a whale of a time. He always waits at the door wagging his tail waiting to go, he just loves playing. Sadly being a dachshund and having selective hearing Olly is not good off the lead so if walking him he must be on the lead at all times.

If caring for him at your home/business your garden/ house must be escape proof as being a hound he would be off and away if he could. Please also be aware that another dachshund trait is being hard to toilet train. Olly is now a year old and we've only just mastered this and he doesnt always ask to go, he has to be reminded. I would want someone who wouldnt mind if he had an accident, especially on the first visit.

I would want someone with experience of dogs and with insurance.
