Welcome to HoundsLand, the home of all things dog! My name is Emily and I am a dog walker and dog blogger based in Buckinghamshire.

HoundsLand offers a Dog Walking and Day Care service to give you peace of mind when you are unable to give your dog the exercise or attention that they need whether that be due to work commitments, holiday’s or last minute plans.

I also offer home visits for puppies who are not yet able to experience the outside world but would benefit from human play time, and also for other dogs that are either unable to be walked outside or suffering from injury but require letting out during the day to relieve themselves and benefit from some human interaction!

Our pricing includes pick up and drop off of your dog from the following areas:

High Wycombe
West Wycombe
Stokenchurch
Saunderton
Marlow

Walks will last for 45 minutes to an hour. Your dog will be safely transported to some of the nicest walks in the area.

Group walks consist of no more than 4 dogs at a time to ensure I am able to provide sufficient supervision.

Home visits will last for 30 minutes, during the visit I will clean up any accidents and spend time on basic training methods and I will always engage in play to provide your dog with mental stimulation.

Previous Experience

I am a life long animal lover and have experience of dealing with a variety of different dog breeds from the Afghan Hound to the Miniature Schnauzer. You can rest assured that I am a confident and experienced dog handler.

I have completed an introductory dog training course with the IMDT and also spent many Sunday mornings volunteering at a dog training school, I also volunteer at Stokenchurch Dog Rescue to help walk their dogs. I have undertaken a grooming course with the ICS and completed a canine first aid course. I am now studying a dog training and behaviour course to build upon my knowledge of how dogs learn and methods to reinforce positive training.

I am a member of the Pet Dog Trainers Instructors (PDTI) and embarking upon my road to becoming a Kennel Club Accredited Instructor.

I am committed to providing a reliable and trustworthy service to give my clients peace of mind that their dogs will be in good care.

I am reliable and will always turn up on time in any weather to pick up your dog. I can also promise that I will take the time to build a solid bond with your dog and reinforce basic training methods as well as any training that you might be undertaking with your dog.
