Walks with Ross at Hopwood Dog Walking & Sitting!
A 40 something Fur-dad to 2 German Pointers, I love to offer my dog walking services to those who want their pet(s) looked after/ exercised whilst you're busy. Based in rural Hopwood (junct.2 M42) near to Alvechurch and Barnt Green. From my 3 acre plot I can walk your dog(s) in the surrounding countryside, along the Worcester canal or even visit nearby Clent, Lickey Hills and Kinver. If you would like your dog walked locally to where you live then that's also available. Full collection, drop off service, or bring your pup to me (following current guidelines). Fully insured, professional and experienced dog handler anticipating the needs of your best friend at all times. Any age dog or breed accommodated.
Dog diary for your pet included so you know what activity has been done and if there's any information you should know about your pet during time in my care. As a dog owner myself I will make you aware of any unusual behaviour unless this is typical, so you can make your own assessment and seek advice from your vet/ behavourist if required.
Previous Experience
I have owned and looked after dogs from 16 years old. Experience of all size dogs from toy breeds (Pugs, Pekinese, Lhasa Apsos, Jack Russels, Border Terriers) to medium/larger/working breeds (German Shepherds,German Pointers,Boxers,Labs,Beagles,Whippets,Cocker/ Springer Spaniels,Dalmatians). Have previously dog-sat for customers in their homes, however this service is not being offered due to Covid-19 currently.
I offer walking services for individual dogs, or dogs from the same household only. I do not do group walks with mixed dogs. Your dog is exercised, engaged in play and mentally stimulated on a one-on-one basis to ensure it has the stimulation it requires for the day. I do not mix my own dogs with yours.
Qualifications & Training
Strong legs, weather resistant, love animals, makes good flasks of tea.

Full clean driving license, estate vehicle with dog guard to rear and rubber boot-liner (for easy cleaning as per handover protocol). All equipment is cleaned before and after use.
Exercise and play tailored to your dogs requirements/ level of health.
I do not walk dogs together from different households as all animals have differing levels of socialisation/ behaviour. If your dog is nervous, I have yellow dog jackets to make other dog walkers aware. I only walk multiple dogs together from the same household.
