About Me/ Company

My name is Helen Donald and welcome to the Dogfatherdevon. After 18 years as a house wife or working in retail I decided it was time to do something that I enjoyed. After combining my lifelong love of dogs and my passion for walking and the outdoors, the Dogfatherdevon is born.Welcome to The Dogfatherdevon, serving dog owners in Plympton, Plymstock, Plymouth and throughout South Devon. The Dogfatherdevon provides a reliable and friendly dog walking service that can be tailored to your dog's individual needs, as well as a bespoke dog minding / sitting service and dog transportation service
The Dogfatherdevon is fully insured in respect of public liability, so please rest assured that your dog is in good hands. I understand just how important your dog is and my aim is to provide you with the best possible service. I appreciate that entrusting me with the care of your dog is an important and difficult decision and therefore a free initial consultation where you and your dog get an opportunity to meet with me and Billy if desired. Dog walking from £8.00 per hour per dog - I offer a discount for multiple dogs and for block bookings of 5 days.
Home from Home boarding from £15.00 per night per dog - I offer a discount for multiple dogs.

Previous Experience

I am 41 years of age and have owned and taken care of dogs since the age of 7. I currently own a lovely 5 year old Tibetan Terrier/Lasa Apso.

Billy enjoys joining me on some of the walks and enjoys making new friends with other dogs. Both Carl (my husband) and I have always owned and cared for dogs all our lives and of all sizes from Poodles to German Shepherds.

I am experienced in handling two large Siberian Huskies and two American Bulldogs and German Shepherds together with small breeds.

Qualifications & Training

The Dogfatherdevon is fully qualified with a diploma in Professional Dog Walking which consist of 6 modules: canine first aid, canine body language, canine behaviour, canine law, canine aggression and canine form. We are fully insured to care for your dog.
