About Me/ Company

Hi Everyone and thank you for looking at my 'Gordon's & Rocky's' profile. Rocky is my best friend. He is a black labrador who loves everyone - the more people and dogs he can meet, the happier Rocky is, me too! I love dogs and have never been without a dog or cat since the age of three years.

Luckily, we lived near Lickey Hills Country Park then, now we live in Far Forest, a few miles away from Bewdley, Kidderminster, Stourport and Cleobury Mortimer. We are surrounded by lots of woods, parks, countryside and open spaces - it is an absolutely fantastic place if you love being out and about.

I am also very keen on photography so it goes hand in hand, out and about with man's best friends and my camera in lovely countryside. I am out with Rocky every day, you may have met with us from time to time. I enjoy the walks and social side, meeting other dogs and people so it makes perfect sense for Rocky and I to become Dog Walkers.

You can see lots of pictures of me out and about with Rocky on my Facebook page, 'Rocky's Treats.' Rocky sometimes stays at home after his walk so I can easily walk dogs who like to be walked on their own or as a pair, if required.

Previous Experience

I have taken my own dog out every day for as long as I can remember. We have met with thousands of dogs and their owners and we enjoy it very much. Rocky is a very social dog and loves meeting everyone - I hope this qualifies us for something. I have also walked other people's dogs on a regular basis, i.e. my friends or people who have sometimes not been able to get out for whatever reason. I am very confident in walking dogs and I fully understand them. I work with them - they will get a good walk and some fun and love, not just a trip around the block. I will also clean up after them and wipe them down. All this to me is simply part of having a dog.

Qualifications & Training

I have been self employed for 25 years, selling and delivering furniture and running a removal service, then latter on I have been a driving instructor, my qualifications have come form my work, I have a very high standard of integrity trustworthiness I treat every one the same I do not let people down and I will be completely straight with you, this is a job I love I like people and all animals all I wish to do is a good job. To be honest you do not need a certificate to show I hope my reputation will speak for me, I live local and people know people, I belief is the more people meet the better, this can only be achieved if you do what you say you will do. It is very important to me and to all dog or pet owners that they can trust the person who is to look after there pet I know I would need to be very sure before I handed over Rocky to another person. I am therefore more than happy to come and meet you for a chat and take it from there, I have nothing to hide.
I also have a CRB check it was a requirement of joining the driving school.

Relevant Info

We do our best during the summer to do a car boot sale to raise money for the Blue Cross, Far forest dog rescue and Macmillan cancer research.

So if you have items you no longer want and would like to help theses charities we would be happy to collect them.

Nutriment Raw Pet Food Delivery

We are now able to supply Nutriment raw pet food for cats and dogs in the local area. All raw food is supplied in a variety of sized trays / packs and comes frozen. Bulk ordering starts at 80kgs (160 x 500g or 58 x 1.4kg). If you wish to make up an 80kg order, please call or message us on 07523 805094.

After being introduced to Nutriment a short while ago, we have discovered the raw food has made, without any doubt at all, a massive difference to Rocky's health. He has a lot more energy, is happier and loves his meals even more. His mobility has improved immensely and his general condition is great. This is not a sales pitch - I take all animals heath and well being extremely seriously. Previously, he was on a quality dry food but I am so pleased he is now on Nutriment raw food. We are really, really impressed with the results, the quality and the extensive product range which is the main reasons why Rocky and myself decided to become Local Distributors for Nutriment Raw Pet Food.

You do not need to have your dog walked by my self to use either of these services.

We also collect any donations of food and accessories and deliver them to the Blue Cross at Bromsgrove or Far Forest dog rescue.
