About Me/ Company

Hello I live in Mossley in Ashton Under Lyne, I am married with no children. I love animals both Dogs and Cats and other small animals, and always treat them as if they were in my own family. I have been Dog Walking/Pet Sitting for a while now (Bev's Dog Walking Service)", I have years of experience with different breeds of dogs, and walking them for many years. I love this aspect of my life, I'm looking forward to more furry friends to complete my days to care for, and excersise. Also I started my small Domestic only - Pet Food and Accessories Delivery Service "Beverley's Pet Shop Drop" in November 2010 to assist people who can't lift heavy tins or pet food packages and litter etc. I provide owners/client's Dogs - within Tameside and Saddleworth areas with Special Individual Care for your Dog (Dogs) - I will gladly take 2 dogs out at a time if within the same household. I can Pet sit for your dog (dogs) if necessary. I am insured for Key holding and Custody and care of your pet. I will adhere to any special requirements for your Dog. I can provide References and I have a Certificate to show for Police Disclosure Check. Please enquire and I will arrange a meeting and I will confidently get to know your dog guaranteed maximum care and affection and interaction and "Peace of Mind" whilst you are at work etc. I love excersise and the outdoors walking in any weather, and if I have the company of a fantastic character of a dog then even better! I donate monthly to the RSPCA and I have volunteerd on occasion so I was vetted by them.

Previous Experience

I have experience of handling both dogs and cats - I adore them. Also I have rescued a few strays and injured cats and helped them be rehomed. TRIBUTE Last year for around 6 months I looked after Rupert a Cocker Spaniel. His photo is on my profile, sadly he passed away due to an enlarged heart - his breathing became worse and worse he was on medication, he was 13 years old. He passed away on Sunday 27th November. I miss him so much, and my heart goes out to Dennis and his family. I got so attached to Rupert. I have had the pleasure and experience of a few dogs in our household over the years, a poodle called Dutchess, a border collie called Duke who we rescued from the daughter of a farmer who was going to drown him as he had no use for him, luckily Duke lived to be 17 years of age I miss him dearly. Also an alsatian and lab mix, and a Springer and Lab mix called Prince. They all had their own stories and personalities and gave us endless pleasure in our family home.....contd

I am looking forward to getting to know other local dogs in the Mossley, Tameside, and Saddleworth areas - to help bring them a happy quality of life. I am currently looking after few dogs including a young Rottweiller called Sadie, and a springer and lab/cross, and a King Charles Cavalier called Toby. Also I pet sit for some young pups, and walk Pugs. I love to put all my extra energy to use. I love talking to cats and dogs and communication is so important, so they know right from wrong, and rewarded when they have been good! I see it as a challenge.

Qualifications & Training

Animal Charity Organisation meeting attended and then assisted on a couple of occasions as a Volunteer. I am Insured with Pet Business Insurance. Also have a certificate for a Police Disclosure (basic required CRB check for dog walking and pet sitting) I also can provide 3 references if required.

I understand that to enter a customer's home is very personable and reliability and trust is paramount, for peace of mind with your very important family members, our Pets are part of our family bond, and require ultimate care and attention at all times. I am very tidy and clean up after myself always. I will charge less per hour for local people within Mossley and immediate surrounding areas. I will walk your dog(s) local to where you live in a safe and calm environment, in fields etc.

Prior to The photo of the bird in the tree I took after - I saved it from my cat's mouth and put it back in the tree so it could look after it's chicks. Of course I had to ground my Cat so she wouldn't have another go!! I recently did the same with a Robin - it was alive and under my running machine, I put my gardening gloves on and took it somewhere safe up the lane and released it. Also a Jackdaw with a broken wing that my neighbours cat had. I also retrieved my neighbours missing rabbit - he was missing for 4 days, I tracked it down after a sighting and returned it to the happy owner. I made it my mission. I keep a look out for any animal in distress I love to help where I can.

I realise there are lots of dog walkers out there/pet sitters but I would love to be given the chance to make a small fraction of more dogs happy, and give them the affection and excersise they need. I am a very loyal person - and ideal to look after anyone's beloved pets in a responsible way. My prices for each service are very reasonable. I believe the care of the animal is more valuable than charging higher rates to clients. I will feed the Dog - Dogs if required and make sure they have plenty of water available until you come home.
