About Me/ Company

I am a dog owner (and cat!) and understand how hard it can be for working families to own a dog.
The guilt of leaving them 'home alone' can put many people off dog ownership, but a caring dog walker can be the answer to any problems....as well as protecting your sofa from a bored, frustrated pooch pal!!
Muddy Paws can help...whether it's a regular walk while you're at work or a day at my house with pooch pals...I will treat your dog as a part of the family (all boys - 1 grumpy student aged 21, 1 happy-go-lucky teen aged 15 and 1 football mad hubby aged over 40!!), who all help with the playing and cuddles of our canine visitors!
Dogs are kept in the house with the run of the garden for play, and regular walkies are on the local parks, canal towpaths and cycle-ways nearby. We also visit forests and beaches when time allows.

Previous Experience

As a dog owner of a rescued (Dog's Trust) crossbreed Toffee from a small pup, I have hands on experience of dog ownership.
The ways they have...early training, barking at the door knocking, chasing cats (or scared of cat's if it's Toffee!), sniffing dubious substances during walks and finding EVERY muddy puddle...these are all dog characteristics that I am well used to.
I have regular furry customers that take me for walkies...on local fields, nature parks, woodlands, riverbanks, footways, canal towpath's and just around the block!

Not too many yet...just experience as a lifelong pet owner.
Planning to take some qualification courses in the near future.

Relevant Info

I carry a doggy First Aid kit on all walks.
Walks will be tailored to individual preferences.
I am fully DBS checked (police records check).
I hold liability insurance that will protect owners, the public and your dog during walkies.
I am a member of NARPSUk (National Association of Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers) and abide by their approved Code of Practice.
I hold an approved licence for daycare with my Local Authority (Cheshire West and Chester).

Other Services

I am more than happy to feed cats and other small animals in the home over holidays. I have always found my own cats happier in the home during my own holidays and, as long as someone comes in to feed, clean litter trays, play and cuddle, your absence need not be too stressful for them, and other small pets like rabbits, guinea pigs, fish (no cuddling though!) and hamsters.
